ReadNotify is a global service offering email tracking to millions of happy users worldwide, on all operating systems, devices, and email programs. Our users range from personal email users to very large corporations and law enforcement agencies. The tracking we provide is legal, moral, comprehensive and non-invasive.

If you can send an email, you can use ReadNotify. Tracking can be added either manually (by simply typing the tracking extension on to your recipients email address) or with our ActiveTracker app, add-ons, or plugin.

On start-up your account defaults include ‘discreet’ tracking. If you prefer, you may opt to include a banner with your tracked emails to let your recipient know you are tracking the email. No – in fact, using ReadNotify actually decreases the chance of your emails being incorrectly flagged or rejected. That’s because our servers are all strictly white-list maintained, we are not an open mailler, and we do not permit or support spam, bulk maillings, or other risky email practices.

ReadNotify staff do not have access to the body of any of the tracked emails you send. Other than Ensured emails (which are stored on our servers until accessed by you or your recipient), ReadNotify does not retain or copy any part of the body of your tracked emails.

ReadNotify complies with the U.S. FTC Safeguards Rules: We own all the hardware running our serivces, which are physically located in secure, access-restricted, ISO-9001&ISO-27001 certified datacenters, all are protected by firewalls and real-time, monitored intrusion detection, without any "plain text" host access methods (secure, encrypted access only). We support TLS security/encryption on both inbound and outbound messages - so providing recipient servers do too, then no emails travel through ReadNotify in plain text. We maintain physically separate machines for development, which are also secured.
